OK, Less Worry Today. They're ALIVE!

Last week I asked, "Do you worry about your bees all winter?"

Here, in the mountains of Utah we have not had any days warm enough for cleansing flights since early November. Monday it hit 43ºF and some of the hives sprang into action. That's still pretty cold, but when you gotta go, you gotta go!

It was great to see the girls stretching their wings and know that they are doing well.

In this hive the upper entrance was the door of choice. Better check and make sure the lower one isn't blocked.
